Rummage Sale

On Saturday June 13, Troop 123 had a rummage sale at All Saints Episcopal Church to help fund-raise for the boys to go to a scout camp. They worked very hard and were very successful. It was a fun experience. The boys did things such as helping with selling, helping load things into cars, holding signs on the street, and moving the leftover things away. The sale went very well and people bought what the wanted for cheap. We thank everyone who donated and bought things, we could not have done it without them.

Court of Honor Spring 2009

Canoeing

Troop 123 left to go canoeing at with some cub scouts. Our boys worked on the merit badge, took cub scouts out on water, and had a great time canoeing. Our troop has a bunch of canoes and we take advantage of them and use them. We all had a great time canoeing!

Cuboree at Camp Morrison

Troop 123 headed up to Cuboree to help out at Camp Morrison in McCall. We helped play games, cleaned up, and enjoyed the weather. We had a great time with the cub scouts. It was fun and the cub scouts had fun too!

Spring Clean-up Raffle Winner

We spent 2 hours in sprucing up a beautiful yard for our lucky raffle winners. It was a great evening and we had fun! Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser!

2009 Willow Creek Scout Competition

The weekend of April 17-19 2009 Troop 123 went to a big scout competition called Willow Creek. 552 people including staff and demonstration participants were there. We had fun and enjoyed being up there. It was three days and two nights long. We hiked to different stations and did what we needed to do. The stations included knot tying, flag etiquette, scout knowledge, first aid, fire building, compass course, and more. Every night we went to the bonfire they had. At the bonfire troops did skits, songs, and more. Also there were mountain men, civil war re-enactors, smoke jumpers, bagpipers, and volunteers. All in all Troop 123 had a great time!
